| 1 | Nairobi View Lodge | On the first morning of your Kenya Explorer Safari Tours you will arrive at Jomo Kenyatta Airport and be driven to your hotel. There will be some time to settle in and freshen up - perhaps with a dip in the swimming pool. In the evening your guide for the trip will hold a pre-departure meeting to familiarise you with what you will be doing for the rest of the tour. (All Meals for Own Account) |
| 2 | Amboseli | On this morning of your East Africa safari tour, travel to the Amboseli National Park. You will have the opportunity to capture pictures of wildlife with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. The park is arid but has marshes and swamps fed by waters that come down from the mountain which support a vast array of wildlife such as Buffalo, Zebra, many Elephants and prides of Lion. In the evening there will be a night game drive which is the ideal opportunity to spot nocturnally active animals, especially predators, including Lion and Leopard. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) |
| 3 | Amboseli | Today on your Kenya safari vacation, you can choose to do optional activities such as a walking safari or head out on another game drive in the Park, seeing the Elephants that the park is renowned for - red coloured due to dust baths in the rust coloured soil. During the afternoon game drive you will stop in the Park and enjoy sundowners in the bush while watching the sunset paint the sky a myriad of colours. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) |
| 4 | NakuruView Lodge | Today you will travel to Lake Nakuru which is famous for the thousands of flamingos that create a blushing pink fringe around the shores of this Rift Valley soda lake. After settling into camp set out on a game drive in the park which is home to one of the greatest concentrations of Black Rhino on the Planet, meaning you are sure to see these endangered animals. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) |
| 5 | NaivashaView Lodge | Today on your East Africa safari tour you'll travel to Lake Naivasha. There is the option of taking a detour to take in the rugged attractions of the Hells Gate National Park en-route. At Naivasha you will stop at Joy Adamson's Elsamere where you will indulge in the grand colonial tradition of afternoon High Tea. Afterwards you will set out on a boating safari on the lake - a great way to see the diverse number of waterfowl that live there. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) |
| 6 | Masai MaraView Lodge | On this morning of your Kenya safari vacation, travel by road to the world renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, a highlight of many Kenya safari tours. This Reserve is famed for the great Wildebeest migration, but is also home to many species of plains game and one of the largest Lion populations in Africa. Head out and explore these rolling savannahs on an afternoon game drive. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) |
| 7 | Masai MaraView Lodge | Today you can include an optional early morning Walking Safari or a Hot Air Balloon Safari - there is nothing more peaceful and dramatic than drifting over the savannah as the sun peaks over the horizon and floods the land in light. Alternatively, sleep in a bit before going on another game drive and having amazing wildlife encounters. There will also be an excursion to a local Masai homestead which will provide a glimpse into their traditional lifestyle. The tribe is renowned for their red tunics and intricate beadwork. | 8 | Nairobi | On the final day of your Kenya Explorer Safari Tour you will enjoy one last game drive before enjoying breakfast. Afterwards you will be driven back to Nairobi where your tour ends.
